While You Work answers the phone for small businesses. Business owners who use it can choose to get a text when their AI receptionist takes an urgent call. These terms explain those texts.

Who gets texts

Only business owners who sign up for While You Work and tick the box to get urgent call alerts by text. We never text you unless you opt in, and opting in is not a condition of buying the service. Every call is also emailed to you, whether or not you get texts.

How you opt in

When you set up your receptionist, the set-up form asks for your cell number and shows this checkbox, unticked:

You can change your choice at any time on the Details page of your dashboard.

What we send

Alerts about urgent calls your receptionist took for your business: who called, their number and what they need. For example:

We do not send marketing texts.

How often

Message frequency varies with the calls your business gets. Most owners get a few texts a month.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your cell phone plan. We do not charge for texts.

Stopping and help

Reply STOP to any text to stop getting them. We confirm by text and send nothing more unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@whileyouwork.ai or call (866) 977-5432.

Your cell number

We use your cell number only to run the service for you. We never share your cell number or your consent to receive texts with anyone else for their marketing. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
